Escape into a Book with Illinois Authors

Books have the wonderful power to take you to another world. They have the ability to enable you to feel every emotion imaginable. This event will provide you an opportunity to talk with Illinois authors and purchase their books, discover their personal stories and ascertain things they have learned. Feel their emotion. We have authors who have written fiction, non-fiction, poetry, history, children’s books, and biographies. These various works will make you laugh, cry, learn and copiously contemplate the meaning of their words.

Don S. McClure – Renowned American Author…
Don S. McClure is one of the most prolific authors of our time and is best known for his variation of imagination and factual writing skills. Born in Chicago Illinois, his career began with a few self-published children stories, 1996. He is ranked as one of the Top 100 highest paid Authors in America. In 2009, he released his personal autobiography titled; “Broken Wings Fallen Angels” based on his life story in Chicago. In 1999, he received a Congressional Record from The 106th Congress, for his work in diversity and promotion of African American history. Currently his creative works contain 11 published books on the market to-date.

PROGRAM AGENDA:

1:00 – 2:00 p.m. – Don McClure will discuss his books and provide advice to future authors on “How to Avoid the Pitfalls of Publishing”.

2:30 – 3:00 p.m. – Opportunity to meet and talk with authors.
3:00 – 4:00 p.m. – Each author will discuss their book and their motivation for writing it.
