A “Second Chance Christmas” will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 3 – 6 p.m. at the Springfield and Central Illinois African American History Museum at 1440 Monument Ave.in Springfield, IL. For those of you who didn’t have a chance to travel the world during Christmas, you can do it through its’ cuisines. There will be six locations in the museum representing continents of the world and their foods. Visitors will have a chance to vote on their favorite food, table decorations, and garments worn by the chefs. Please come and bring your friends and family members, and share the food, fun and excitement with us. Donations will be accepted.
