The First Black History Bowl is sponsored by The Springfield and Central Illinois African American History Museum, 1440 Monument Ave. Springfield, IL 62702 on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.

Participating teams are from Lanphier High School, Springfield High School, and Southeast High School

The moderator is Kamau Kemayo, Professor at UIS.

The Rudy Davenport Memorial Traveling Trophy will be awarded to the winning school.

Categories are history, arts, business, education, entertainment, politics, military, sports, science and exploration.
